Avenkin for smart glasses
Works on: Ray-Ban Meta. Input: Voice.
About this app
Avenkin (formerly OpenGlasses) is an unofficial iOS assistant that lets you pick your own AI, keep memory on your device and use it through Ray-Ban Meta glasses, headphones or a watch. It reads signs, translates conversations and can stream or capture photos and video by voice. The README says it is a beta, distributed by TestFlight or from source, with a one-time purchase and no subscription to the developer. Its face recognition only names people you enrol and approve, and runs on the phone. It is off by default on new installs, but MIXED News reports that an upgraded install keeps it on, so check the setting after updating.
