About this app
NoteBuddy is an unofficial open-source iOS app that pairs with Ray-Ban Meta glasses to scan pages, extract the text and summarise it. It can use Apple's on-device model or OpenAI, and organises scans into decks with flashcards and multiple-choice quizzes. A phone camera works when the glasses are not connected. It is built from source and OpenAI use needs your own key.
- Hands-free document scanning with the glasses camera
- On-device or OpenAI summaries
- Flashcards and multiple-choice quizzes
- PDF import
- Phone-camera fallback
