About this app

OpenVision is an unofficial open-source iOS app that links Meta Ray-Ban glasses to several AI backends, including on-device MLX models, Apple Intelligence, OpenAI, Gemini Live and Grok. You say a wake phrase and ask about what you see, and answers come back by voice. It includes an optional face feature that only recognises people you teach it by name, with the data kept on the phone. Building from source and your own API keys are required for cloud backends.

  • Several AI backends, cloud or on-device
  • Voice wake phrase and spoken answers
  • Photo and live-video questions about what you see
  • Optional on-device recognition of faces you enrol yourself
  • Web search and productivity tools
